  1. Key Person Insurance: This refers to an insurance covering the life of a key person whose survival is essential to the success of the company. The death of the person may result in the company suffering huge losses.
  2. Kidnap or Ransom Insurance: These plans provide for covers up to a certain level for losses incurred due to payments for ransom and extortion payments. These plans are usually bought by firms to protect employees. Most of these plans have high deductibles and may exclude specific areas. Certain policies also mandate that the policy holder does not reveal the extent of his covers.
